Where have we Been??

Back to England for a spot of house decorating, but our planned 2 week visit turned into 4. But why no postings?? Tethering your tablet to a phone on a Tesco data bundle isn’t conducive to blog posting and not cheap either, so only a quick check of emails, messages and DIY shopping allowed. When we bought the house 2 years ago, we didn't have time to do much to it before our tenants moved in. Now they've moved out, we took the opportunity to paint from top to bottom, tidy the garden and put in a new kitchen. All of this was done in 3 weeks with the help of Gary and Carole, Rogers brother and his wife who fitted our worktops and sink and helped with loads of other jobs. Carole showed me quicker ways to paint ceilings and doors, that didn’t involve constantly going up and down ladders. The end result is fantastic and we have new tenants moving in mid November, a lovely French couple and their 7 month old daughter.

I’m not going to show you photos of painted rooms, but photos of our September visitors.
