Going, Going, Gone

The new wall is now up between our bedroom and bed 3, so I’ve been able to pull off the old plasterboard and plaster from two of our bedroom walls, a job I’ve been itching to do. The old plaster was very crumbly so came off fairly easily, but I did need some help pulling down the heavy plasterboard and the wooden batoning. Here are a series of photos showing the stone being revealed.

  4. Lovely stone walls....ours are river stone which allow for the rats to make rat runs in them, so we have had to plaster over our walls unfortunately!

    1. I've not heard of river stone before, I guess it's softer so the rats can bore through it. It's a shame to cover up the stone, but you have to do what's practical.
