  1. I have never been sure about this. I love the smell of lavender but I am not convinced about the taste! It makes for a great photo though. Our lavender is over now so the bugs have all disappeared now. Harder to look for photos! :-( Keep well Diane xx

    1. A colleague made a batch of lavender biscuits for me, they were delicious. Not overpowering, just a hint of lavender. I got the recipe from her but mine are not as tasty, more practice required I think. Hope you meant buds Diane, not bugs :) x

  3. Never thought about using lavender for anything other than smelling, so it is interesting to know that it can be used in cooking.

  4. There are many recipes out there for lavender, just make sure you use the right kind for the best flavor. Any English Lavender, L. Angustifolia will have a pleasant taste, they are milder and have less camphor than x intermedias, two English favorites are Royal Velvet and Buena Vista.
