Homemade Yogurt

Lets not make homemade yogurt, without working out what time it would be ready first!! In my excitement of wanting to use my new yogurt maker (early Christmas present), I didn't take into consideration what time it would be ready. So silly me had to get up at 2am to put it in the fridge. But the yogurt was worth the early alarm call, it was delicious with a dollop of rhubarb compote on top.

    1. Me too, but it's lovely with any stewed fruit, honey or seeds sprinkled on top x

  2. We had a yogurt maker about 30 years ago. My attempts at making yogurt weren't very successful - runny and sour tasting.

Yours look much better, especially with rhubarb compot. My favourite flavour is rhubarb.

    1. Mine was very creamy, which is how I like it. If you still have your maker I can send you the recipe if you want it. Rhubarb is delicious. Hope to grow some in the garden this year x

  3. Never had home made yoghurt. Looks good but I doubt I'd have got up at 2am for it. Especially after a day of DIY! xx

    1. Our neighbour makes it and it is delicious, so I thought I could do that. Spent a while trying to find one that wasn't mega bucks. It was rubbish planning. I'm going to make it in the morning from now on, so it can be chilled overnight ready for breakfast x
